I'm happy about that: I really don't care much for Bush's immigration reform. This bill must have been yet another Trojan horse. Giving legal status to millions of unlawful immigrants might be a good thing if it weren't for the Republicans' intentions of increasing penalties for illegal immigrants who have barely enough money to survive.

Please don't ascribe to conspiracy what may be explained by incompetence.

That's what the recent reform bill was, a big giant swirling ball of incompetence and ignorance.
