Hello. I got an e-mail from Paul about this forum, presumably because I'm on the MC Rockville philosophy club's mailing list, and I thought I'd sign up and see how it is. I was nominated for, and just today received, the Paul Myron and Robert White award, for an essay I wrote for Professor White's class on Frankl's existential vacuum. I presently have an AS in math from MC, with honors, as well as several elective credits in philosophy, and I've been accepted for transfer to UM-College Park, for a double major in math and philosophy, for the fall. Hopefully this is approximately what people are looking for in a welcome thread.
