Title: IBM Common Stock
Description: 100+?

RancerDS - January 13, 2007 02:25 PM (GMT)
Will IBM's common stock break $100 per share? It's been climbing gradually for the past week. Currently the delayed ticker shows it to be $99.34.

While IBM has long been a traditional blue-chip stock, the continued falling prices of personal PC's insure that market is no longer really viable to the computer giant. They do continue to work on making medium- to large-scale business solutions, specifically with their rack systems. And they continue to run commercials and some sponsoring spots.

Where the stock price will deter many from investing, the fact that it is a more stable stock commodity does draw interested parties. Will the Blue Giant continue to remain a top competitor in high-end computing solutions?

On a side note, the blue ties in with the democratic/liberal aspects, or so it has been rumoured.

Checked the stock, and it was trading at 100.10.

So, yes, I do think it can break 100! :P

Clever.

Any thoughts on if you think they'll split the stock? If you do, what price plateau do you think it'd have to hit first?

No idea, has it split in the past?

Without looking, am pretty certain that Big Blue has split at least once, though I certainly could not cite when or why. I'd also wager that AT&T has split a few times.

Its back below 100.

Doubt it will split again too soon.
